Hallelujah!!! 200,000 Tibetans, Including 62 Buddhist monks, Come To Jesus!

Something wonderful in the Christian sense is happening in Tibet, a region in China considered as the highest in the world and the home of Mount Everest, earth’s highest mountain rising more than 29,009 feet above sea level.
Tibetans are mostly Buddhist, but there are also some Muslims and Christians, according to sources.
Last year, one Tibetan Buddhist priest embraced Jesus Christ and became a Christian pastor after seeing the love of Christ shown by a group of Christian workers who helped out and provided relief goods to the people of the region when a major earthquake struck the area, according to Joe Handley, president of Asian Access, a Christian organisation seeking to spread God’s Word in South Asia.

From Porn Star To Pulpit: The incredible and unlikely stories of women who’ve quit the Porn industry to become Christian preachers.

At a fundraising event in California, Crissy Outlaw stands at a pulpit wearing a glamorous billowing black mini with a pink flower carefully lodged in her dark hair. The all-American 41-year-old beauty begins her sermon simply with: ‘Hi, my name is Crissy and I used to be a porn star.’
She opens with this same line to the other congregations she visits, narrating the chilling times she was abused time and time again from the age of four, the failed relationships that left her ‘wanting to be dead’ and how she gave up her career as one of the biggest names in the porn industry to become a prolific Christian preacher.

5 Things We Shouldn’t Do While We Spend Time With God.

Our devotions are a vital foundation to growing in Christ. And while the philosophical understandings of why we read our Bible and pray are important, knowing some practical applications to growing in our devotions can be helpful, too.
I started running a few years back, and getting into the rhythm and discipline of things was quite a challenge. While the heart and desire was there, when there was no clear-cut definition of what must and mustn’t be done, I only found myself fumbling through programmes and schedules. Understanding what I shouldn’t be doing when I run helped just as much as understanding what should be done.
It’s the same way with any other discipline, especially the spiritual discipline of Bible reading and prayer.

How To know When It’s Time For You To Transfer To Another Church

There is a reason why God designed Christians to exist in communities, and that’s because we grow best when we are surrounded by a group of believers who build us up in the faith. Nowadays, there are so many churches that Christians can be a part of and the issue is no longer “Should I go to church?” but rather “Which church should I go to?”
There is nothing wrong with transferring to a different church if done for reasons that do not involve offence, hurt and unhealthy disagreement with leadership. In fact, sometimes God calls believers to a new season to be a blessing in another church.
How can we know when it’s time to transfer to another church? Here are just a few cases that I’ve encountered that could be signs that it’s time to move to a new church community.

Epic $500 Million, Eight-Story “Museum Of The Bible” Set To Be Opened In Washington DC.

The vast grove of museums stretching from the U.S. Capitol across the fringes of the National Mall is about to get a new addition, albeit a decidedly less secular one: The Museum of the Bible.

Just three blocks south of the Capitol, the privately funded museum is set to open this November. Though it may seem out of place next to the well-known museums on American history, air and space and more, those behind the project describe it as a future attraction that will draw in a range of visitors through a blend of historical and religious artifacts and interactive exhibits.

God, apes, and confused creationists: Why Christians can't make science the enemy

A digital reconstruction of the Homo naledi species, the bones of which were discovered only in 2013.Cicero Moraes - Wikimedia Commons

The discovery of mysterious fossilized bone fragments has divided the conservative Christian community, with Young Earth Creationists torn on what to say. Many are determined to defend the Bible, but are they missing the point?

Confusion about creation can end not just in bad science, but poor theology too.

7 Unbelievably Ironic Preacher Deaths

The Snake Salvation pastor who died from a snake bite

In 2014, a snake-handling pastor who appeared on TV's Snake Salvation died after being bitten by a rattlesnake. Jamie Coots was holding the snake at his church in Middlesboro, Kentucky when he was bitten on the hand. He then refused to have medical treatment for the bite.

Kenyan Lawyer Tries to Sue Israel and Italy for the Killing of Jesus Christ, Again

An experienced Kenyan lawyer recently filed a petition with the International Court of Justice in The Hague against the countries of Israel and Italy, as well as historical figures that have been dead for over 2,000 years, for the unlawful trial and crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

If you somehow feel that you’ve heard something like this before, you probably have. Kenyan lawyer Dola Indidis first tried to sue Israel and Italy over Jesus’ death in 2007. His petition to a Nairobi court was dismissed, but the persistent man didn’t give up. In 2013, he turned to the International Court of Justice for the first time, arguing that Jesus’ “selective and malicious prosecution violated his human rights through judicial misconduct, abuse of office bias and prejudice.” Unfortunately, his case was thrown out, but in March of this year, Indidis once again appealed to the ICJ, hoping to finally make it to an actual trial.
